Wolsey Road, Newington Green

The works to the lower ground floor of this terraced Victorian house comprised the formation of a frameless glass box infill extension, the installation of full width bi-folding doors and the removal of the majority of the internal walls. The new, open plan space is accessed via an open tread, walnut stair and the existing kitchen has been replaced with new white high gloss units and composite stone worktop. A lozenge shaped island located in the centre of the space creates a focal point and provides a useful informal seating area.
