Lipton Plant to feature on Channel 4’s Ugly House to Lovely House with George Clark

Channel  4’s new series ‘Ugly House to Lovely House with George Clark’ champions the power of great architecture by transforming undervalued and unloved British housing stock. It starts Thursday 25th February at 8pm.

In each show a different architect grapples with the “ugliness” of the house they are allocated. Their goal is to remodel the owner’s building into a home that really meets their needs, that they are excited and even proud of.

Ed Lipton leads us through his approach and process as a design evolves to transform a 1970’s semi-detached house deeply rooted within the suburbs of Wokingham.

As the bespoke and highly designed extension develops it provokes a challenging, inspiring and surprising journey both practically and emotionally for everyone involved. This episode airs on Thursday 3rd March at 8pm on Channel 4. Catch the series on All 4
